Why can’t I purchase my Anna Bacciocchi hat directly?
Since every hat — whether part of the Ready-to-Wear collections or custom-made — is meticulously handcrafted in Italy, each model or personalized project is subject to a waiting list that varies based on demand.
Beyond that, we believe your customer experience should be exceptional.
That’s why we prefer direct contact with each client before the order, so we can guide you toward the best choice and discuss any desired customizations.
What are the payment methods?
At the moment, we only accept bank transfers.
Once you join the waiting list for a specific model, you will be promptly contacted with an update on the expected wait time and the bank details to proceed with the payment.
How much does a custom hat cost?
Every custom hat is a unique and unrepeatable piece, requiring different craftsmanship techniques and specific materials depending on the design.
That’s why the final price is determined after the design consultation. As a general guide, prices start from €500 and up.
How does the hat design process work in custom project?
The process is structured around two consultations:
1. Design Phase
During this first consultation, we will define all the details of your custom hat together. This is where the magic begins — a moment to unleash our shared creativity and bring to life something truly unique, made just for you.
2. Refinement Phase
Seven business days after the design phase, I will present you with sketches of your hat (or hats, if we explored multiple distinct concepts), along with a detailed quote. If you’re happy with the design, we’ll move on to the actual creation of YOUR hat!
Which styles can I choose in the custom creation process?
You can give full rein to your imagination and creativity — there are no limits to the designs we can create together!
I don’t know my hat size — is that a problem?
Not at all. During the consultation, we’ll take your measurements together to determine the perfect fit, ensuring your hat is made to measure — both comfortable and one of a kind in its design.
How long will I have to wait for my hat?
For Custom Hats: once the project is approved and paid, your hat will be delivered to your home within 60 days.
What happens if I don’t like my Custom hat?
My goal is for the hat you receive to be the perfect reflection of what you imagined.
If for any reason you’re not satisfied, I will modify or remake the hat at no additional cost to you.
I don’t know my hat size — is that a problem?
Not at all. Here you will find instructions on how to find the right size.
If you’re unable to find your size on your own, you can request a video call during the model reservation phase to be guided step by step by a member of our team.
How long will I have to wait for my hat?
For Ready-to-Wear hats: once you’re notified that you’re first on the waiting list, and only if the payment has been completed, your hat will be delivered to your home within 40 days.
What customizations are available for Ready-to-Wear models?
Since every Anna Bacciocchi hat is entirely handcrafted, it’s possible to customize even the Ready-to-Wear models to give your hat that extra touch of uniqueness. Available customizations include:
How can I wash the product I purchased?
Both straw and felt hats should not be machine-washed or soaked in water, as this would cause them to lose their shape.

How should I store my hat to keep it in good condition?
After each use, store your hat inside its box to protect it from dust and moths.
Avoid leaving felt hats exposed to sunlight for long periods—for example, by forgetting them in a car—as this may cause their color and shine to fade.
If you have pets at home that may shed hair, especially on felt hats, you can use a sticky pet roller hair remover directly on the hat to remove it easily.
What should I do if my hat gets wet?
If your straw or—especially—felt hat gets wet, do not let it dry while crumpled or near a heat source, as it will dry out of shape.
Instead, place it on a flat surface, reshape it gently to its original form, and allow it to air dry.
Once it’s my turn on the waiting list and I’ve made my payment, how will I know the status of my order?
As soon as your order enters production and up until shipping, you’ll receive video updates showing the making of your unique hat.
This way, you’ll be kept informed in real time and feel involved in the creation of your one-of-a-kind piece.
Where can I track the shipping status?

1) Choose and purchase the hat yourself.
If you let us know during checkout that it’s a gift, we’ll be happy to include a personalized greeting card.
2) Give a Gift Card of any value you prefer.

Can I gift a Custom Anna Bacciocchi hat?
Yes, of course — but as you know, every made-to-measure hat requires a preliminary design phase, so you have two options:
1) You go through the design process, creating the hat to gift according to your own taste. This option requires full payment of the hat in advance.
2) You gift the experience of designing the custom hat, which will then be created together with the person receiving the gift.
In this case, since the final price will be given during the design process, you can either choose to pay the full amountafter the quote is presented, or you can add a Gift Card of any value to accompany the experience.
