Step 1: Preparation
You’ll need a tailor’s measuring tape or a non-elastic ribbon and a mirror.
Step 2: Positioning the tape
Place the tape around your head starting from the center of your forhead, about one centimeter above your ears, following the natural shape of your head.
Step 3: Reading the measurement
Ensure the tape is snug but not tight. Read the measurement in centimeters where the tape overlaps.
If you measured with a tape measure, mark the overlap and then lay the tape along a ruler to read the measurement.
Step 4: Verification
Repeat the measurement a couple of times to ensure accuracy.
